Music. From an early age I found a way to express myself through reading and writing poetry. In my teens passion for music and literature evolved and I took a great liking to the early singer-songwriter genre. The lyrics were always very important to me and already at this age I started writing songs and creating my own music. But, instead of pursuing music craft or the music industry, all over sudden when I was 26 years old, I began creating what was to become a successful business of growing fresh herbs in greenhouses.
Love. It was music that brought me and my wife Gentilia together. The first time I met Gentilia she was playing the violin at a concert I was attending. Something about the way she performed touched my heart. The way music came to life through her stroke. Gentilia has diploma from the Academy of Music in Berlin and is a professional violinist since many years. She began her career in Sweden more than three decades ago and is the founder of the Gentle String Quintet. As an example, she was for a long time the first violinist and concertmaster with Robert Wells.
The Love for Music. After our first encounter, Gentilia and I started the infinity of conversations about music. One day Gentilia presented the enchanting “Ballad” of Porumbescu at a concert. This became the beginning of our love story. She encouraged and inspired me later to find a way back to my own music and we started creating together. It has now resulted in the release of 3 albums. They are all recorded in Hilleshög church, very close to where we live. This church has a very special place in our hearts, since it is also where we got married.
